The process is very cool to watch, brain's a buzzing, the image is so clear in your head wow

First shot of Kaeya sets the tone immediately. It shows him with an empty face, clearly lost in thought. After a black screen, we see Kaeya again, holding his vision while in the rain with tattered clothes, telling you that, yeah, this isn’t a happy story. "I was listening to ocean" and "I see a face in the sand," while not being literal in the actual animatic, still holds weight with the dripping flower and Kaeya looking at a pool of water. His face disappears when he reaches out to feel the water and lets it drop, giving meaning to "I picked it up and it vanished away from my hands, down." Same with climbing the tree in the next shot, but "I saw a piece of heaven" as Kaeya overlooks Mondstadt is touching yet tragic, because it is his heaven. When we first see Kaeya, he is shown to be happy and enjoying life, but when he is with his father, it is obvious he isn’t happy, needing to constantly be on the move, barely able to have enough to eat with his gaunt face. Yet, he is still a child, something we are reminded of as he looks curiously upon the falling raindrops. It is only when his father leaves, his connection to Khaenri’ah leaves him, does he finally become happy after he is taken in and lives with Diluc. But before you think it gets better, we are then taken into the future where Diluc's warm smile is gone and they have nothing to say to one another, nothing but a cold drink like the abyss mage Kaeya kills with a cold and lost expression like we saw in the beginning as he wonders if he is lying to himself and the persona he makes for others, feeling lost in the starry night. It then flashes to the past and present as it shows Kaeya doing what he's been doing for most of the video, running, whether it be literal as he runs to help Diluc, or more subtle like he stands at the edge of Dawn Winery, running from confronting what happened during the day Diluc lost his father and the day Kaeya lost his home and brother. Running away to the statue, collapsing at his feet, as flashes of images of Kaeya looking happy are shown, but still, he feels alone, like he shouldn’t be there. It cuts back to him and the statue as he "can't take it anymore." We are then shown to a white space with no one but Kaeya as he kept running for a soft spot to fall, but he never found one until he himself decided that this was a soft place as he reaches out to his younger self, accepting his past traumas as pain. As he finally makes it back home, his home, where he is greeted by people who respect him, who value him, who love him, finally being able to stop running and enjoy life as it is.

That's as far as she gets but at least she can catch a glimpse. ;w;
